- Description
- *Field assessment of natural and cultural resources, park and land management infrastructure, and major program areas such as natural communities restoration, imperiled species managment, prescribed burning, exotic species control, and natural resource based recreation. * Technical writing - authoring of state park management plans in coordination with contributing field biological staff. Emphais on describing current resource conditions, future desired conditions, and the development of resource management and compatible recreational objectives. * Utilizing GIS (ARC-PRO) to analyze spatial data and develop complex conceptual land use maps. * Compiling and organizing species occurrence data and corresponding habitat analysis in coordination with field biological staff.
- Qualifications
- * Skill in technical writing and critical thinking in regards to problem solving, and ensuring compatibility between multiple complex objectives and projects occurring within the boundaries of a state park unit. * Skill in GIS applications * Skill in coordinating meetings with the public and/or professional stakeholders.
