White Mountain Science (WMSI pronounced ‘whimsy’), develops and delivers highly engaging and fun STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) programs with the goal of teaching creative problem solving to students, teachers, and after school youth. WMSI part time instructors assist/run 1-3 hour educational STEM programs for students in North Country New Hampshire locations. This position involves an active role in lesson prep, driving a large van to up to 12 different locations within 1.5 hours of base, working with school teachers to provide quality after school STEM education for 3rd-6th graders, and mentoring high school students in an effort to train them as assistant instructors in all of your lessons. The position also includes office hours spent organizing teaching materials, designing new lessons, and creating documentation for future instructors. White Mountain Science is a 501c3 non-profit organization based in Bethlehem, NH.
