- Description
- Successful applicant will (1) conduct research on fisheries biology and ecology in Lake Champlain and/or other large lakes of the world, and (2) teach existing courses in fisheries biology and scientific writing. This position provides an opportunity for those interested in pursuing a career in both research and teaching to gain valuable experience, with mentorship in both roles from two faculty (Ellen Marsden and Jason Stockwell).
- Qualifications
- Competitive applicants will have a PhD in fisheries, aquatic ecology, limnology or equivalent field, demonstrated experience with multiple fish sampling gears, demonstrated teaching skills (lecture, lab, and/or mentoring), published research in peer-reviewed journals as lead author, and a demonstrated aptitude for organization.
