The 100% research position will require some field work plus new analyses using time series data of animal populations from the freshwater Everglades. Primary projects for publications are not finalized but could include population modeling, predator-prey interactions, studies of invasions or historical reconstructions/ analyses of hydro-patterns and avian responses. Complementary experimental, modeling or observational studies may be possible depending on the specific interests of the successful applicant and other available funds.
