We seek a highly-motivated individual to analyze secretive marsh bird monitoring data collected throughout New York State. To advance survey design, the selected individual will work collaboratively with a team of faculty and NYS DEC staff. Those familiar with waterbird survey methodology, occupancy modeling for rare species, and application of autonomous recording units are encouraged to apply. Opportunities exist to assist with and teach courses depending on the selected individuals interests and expertise.
