- Interested in linking habitat, climate, and land use to wildlife habitat, movement, and demographics? If so, please provide a letter of interest describing your skills and abilities to tgraves@usgs.gov by 3/15/2022. Will likely have 2 positions- one focused on pollinator ecology and one focused on large mammals.
- Qualifications
- Ideal candidate needs a strong background in applied statistics as well as a demonstrated record of applying quantitative approaches to applied questions in ecology, fisheries, or a related discipline. Expertise in a scientific programming language (e.g., R) and an enthusiasm for scientific writing are highly desirable. Experience with modeling using one or more of the following: pollinator networks, use/availability, occupancy, GPS collar data, spatial capture recapture approaches, remote sensing, climate data, and genetics also desirable. Must have U.S. citizenship
