Structure: Full-Time, 40 hour/week position on a 6 month contract with the goal of creating an indefinite full time position by the end of the contract White Mountain Science (WMSI pronounced ‘whimsy’), develops and delivers highly engaging and fun STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) programs with the goal of teaching creative problem solving and the Science/Engineering process to students and teachers. The WMSI Program Coordinator will have a mixture of jobs, including but not limited to: running 1-3 hour STEM programs for K-6th grade; supervising and training interns; supporting teacher professional development programs; co-writing grants; and developing and expanding programs to new regions. This position also involves office hours spent organizing teaching materials, designing new organizational documents, and creating documentation for future instructors.
