The Program Specialist II will be responsible for assisting with coordinating school groups, contacting schools, and scheduling. This position will work directly with the program coordinator to oversee the day to day operations of the environmental education program. Duties include supervising and evaluating staff, training, and curriculum development.
The Program Specialist II will give direct instructional support to participants in the Environmental Education and Summer Camping Programs, as well as adult/youth conference groups attending Rock Eagle 4-H Center. Additional responsibilities will include training of staff, curriculum development, maintaining teaching spaces, class materials, and administrative duties. During the summer months the Program Specialist II will assist with the summer camping program. Weekend and evening work will be required.
Completion of a Bachelor’s degree.
Bachelor's degree in Recreation Administration, Animal Science, Wildlife Resources, Education, Natural Science, Environmental Education, Biology, Outdoor Education, History, Education, or related fields.
