Responsibility for Ranch Hand/Guide will include, but not limited to the fallowing tasks.
The everyday overseeing and feeding of the Breeding Facility, and observing Herd Health. Weekly upkeep of ranch Headquarters. Filling of all corn and protein feeders, as well as repairs on them. Fence repairs across the ranch, low fence and high fence. Some mechanical work on ranch verticals and large equipment. This job will be assisting with anything and everything that may need attention on the ranch.
We also spend a lot of our time improving the ranches habitat for wildlife. Which includes spraying brush, clearing brush and planting food plots.....
Six months of the year we are hunting Dove, Duck, Quail, Whitetail and a few exotics at some point. So Guiding will be a big part of what we do.
Applicant must be willing to potentially work long hours and some weekends. Must be a self starter and willing to work hard in the summer heat. At times lifting 50lbs + will be necessary.
Some experience with the above job description would be ideal.
Applicant must be able to entertain many different groups of clients. As we will be spending many days with hunting clients during the season.
Being positive and keeping a good attitude is a must. Working well with ranch staff and ALWAYS be respectful.
A Bachelors Degree in a Wildlife related field would be great, but not a must.
