- We are a 10,000 acre hunting ranch with 16 different exotic and native species on the ranch looking for an individual that is self motivated and can complete tasks without direct supper vision along with being able to work in a team setting. A background in the wildlife or related fields is recommended but not necessary. Applicant should be sufficient in driving a truck and trailer and side by side, able to work with ranch equipment such as chainsaws, blowers, weed eaters etc. Being capable of operating farm equipment is preferred. Ranch will provide housing and utilities along with a work truck. Tasks include but are not limited to : -Filling feeders and water troughs throughout the property -Regular maintenance on ranch equipment -Assisting in invasive cedar and mesquite removal -Grounds keeping work around the lodge facilities and runway -Fence line check and repairs -Assisting with various ranch projects -Entertaining/guiding potential guests over the summer -Checking game cameras and collecting species data -Assist on yearly spotlight deer surveys Start and end dates are loosely based on applicant's scheduling, starting early May through mid-late August.
