- Chadron State College is seeking a Rangeland Management & Ecology faculty member who is interested in educating the next generation of land managers. The Rangeland Management Department is a collegial group who believe in creating hands-on and student-centered learning environments for our students to thrive. The Rangeland Management Department at Chadron State College plays a vital role in filling a large employment gap in the field of rangeland management. We have a stable student body and we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our department to help our department continue to grow by creating new and exciting opportunities for our students, the community, and campus. The Rangeland Management Department offers a comprehensive degree in rangeland management. This position would educate a diverse group of students with interests in ranching, land management, ecology, and wildlife management.
- Qualifications
- Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in Rangeland Management or related field. Terminal degree is required for tenure. Preferred Qualifications: Earned terminal degree or ABD status in Rangeland Management or related field. Experience in teaching and in research/scholarship in the field of Rangeland Management. Experience in effectively using technology to facilitate student learning and to expand student access preferred. FAA UAS license and Part 107 certificate.
