- Do you enjoy spending time outdoors and interacting with other outdoor enthusiasts? We are seeking an individual to assist the Nebraska Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit (NE CFWRU) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a long term social-ecological study examining angler behavior and patterns. This project aims to identify how anglers influence fish communities and how these fish communities respond to angling. As part of this effort, we are hiring an individual to interview anglers in-person at reservoirs located in the Omaha, Nebraska metropolitan area. The position begins March 14th and runs through November 11th, 2022. Mandatory training will occur March 14th - 18th in Lincoln, NE. The successful candidate will work closely with local fisheries biologists. Job duties include on site angler surveys and data entry.
