In this position, you will support the activities in the landscape and turfgrass entomology lab at Auburn University https://agriculture.auburn.edu/about/directory/faculty/david-w-held/.
The field based program currently has 5 graduate students with mainly outdoor projects including urban pollinator research and research with pests in nurseries. In this position, you will be part of the team gaining a wide range of experience in insect science and ecology, biological control, and insect management. You will conduct and assist in research planning and execution; Provides support to students through organizing resources; and Ensure that all biological research subjects are maintained, and that the lab, equipment and vehicles are clean and in working order.
