The research biologist will help with the restoration, protection, and enhancement of Pacific salmon within the Columbia River Basin. Job duties include but are not limited too, quantitative analyses, report writing, study design and implementation, exploratory data analysis, and manuscript development. The research biologist supervises field crews to ensure study objectives are completed and reported. In addition, we are integrated into the management of anadromous and/or migratory fishes in the Columbia River basin (Chinook, steelhead, bull trout) through collaborative relationships with state and federal agencies. We also have a strong relationship with Idaho State University and a holistic approach to fisheries research and management allowing for research flexibility.
MS degree from an accredited college in fisheries, wildlife, or an ecology related field. Preferred qualifications include an PhD degree, previous work experience, and experience publishing scientific literature.
