Conducts bioaccumulation studies with aquatic invertebrates and fish. Prepares field-collected samples for pesticide extraction and cleanup, quantifies extracts using GC-MS and LC-MS techniques, maintains and troubleshoots the analytical equipment and orders and maintains laboratory inventory.

Minimum of a B.S. degree with a M.S. degree preferred. The successful candidate will ideally have a background in either environmental toxicology or analytical chemistry and analytical instrumentation experience. They also will have good problem-solving and scientific writing skills. Preference will be given to applicants with formal training on Agilent equipment and software and have toxicity testing and field experience.
