Tahoe Resource Conservation District (Tahoe RCD) is seeking multiple Resource Conservationists to assist with the Tahoe Conservation Partnership (TCP) program. The TCP is a joint effort of the California Tahoe Conservancy (CTC) and Tahoe RCD. These positions are field-based. Job duties consist of various conservation and general land management projects on CTC properties. Projects include: fuel reduction efforts, hazardous tree removal, fence repair and construction, erosion control, revegetation, non-herbicide invasive plant management (aquatic and terrestrial), trail construction and maintenance, and general property maintenance (trash removal, facilities maintenance, other).
Required Qualifications o Ability to work safely and cooperatively in a group setting under a variety of working conditions o Ability to perform manual labor in rough terrain, lift heavy objects, and work for extended periods of time in various weather conditions o Excellent communication skills o Demonstrated ability to follow directions and carry out specific project plans For full job description and application instructions visit:
