- Description
- Save the Elephants (STE) is seeking a Senior Elephant Movement Researcher to lead reporting and research on GPS tracking data in Kenya and across Africa. In this Nairobi-based role, you will supervise the Tracking Analyst, conduct original research on elephant movements (including leading peer-reviewed scientific publications), mentor the Tracking Analyst in movement analysis, spatial data management, statistics, and scientific writing, ensure data quality in the STE Spatial Database, coordinate technical and management-oriented reports, and provide regular updates and presentations. We require a PhD or equivalent experience, proven animal movement analysis skills, and expertise in supervising GIS work and R coding.
