The Brewer lab at Oklahoma State University has an opening for a full-time stream ecology research technician to participate in a variety of projects. Primary duties will be assisting with data entry and data management tasks and fish tracking and population surveys in Great Plains streams, with opportunities to assist with other field and lab projects as needed. Applications will be reviewed as they are received. The position will run from July/August through December or early January.
B.S. in Fisheries, Aquatic Ecology, or related field. Applicant must demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Good attention to detail and the willingness to work long hours on data management tasks are required. Previous field experience in stream systems preferred.
