- The Philmont Conservation Department is looking for passionate and motivated individuals to work with us this summer! The department runs programs focusing on volunteer engagement, environmental education, and wildfire prevention and mitigation, just to name a few. The Department employs approximately 120 seasonal staff every summer and approximately 40 staff during the fall and winter seasons.
