Description
The successful student will serve as the Teaching Assistant for two courses during each fall and spring semester while working toward a non-thesis master’s degree. The initial assistantship agreement is for one academic year with renewal for a second year with satisfactory performance. Possible courses to TA include: Conservation of Natural Resources, Vertebrate Natural History, Wildlife Habitat Management, Human Dimensions of Wildlife, Mammalogy, and Principles of Wildlife Science. The non-thesis degree in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology requires 36 course credits and an external project. Topic and expectations for the project to be determined by the student and the student’s advisory committee.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Science or a closely related field as well as interest and enthusiasm for teaching.
