Description
The Fisheries Department of the College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences (CFOS) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) invites applications for a tenure-track, full-time (9-months of annual state support) Assistant Professor of Marine Policy. The position will be located in Juneau or Fairbanks, Alaska. Applications are encouraged from creative individuals with a solid academic background who will complement the expertise of existing faculty, contribute to the Master of Marine Policy (MMP) and other CFOS academic programs, develop an active research program, and engage in professional, public, and university service. UAF is a federally recognized Alaska Native-serving institution that supports bridging Indigenous and Western sciences.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree from an accredited university in marine policy, marine affairs, fisheries, marine science or closely related discipline.
