- Job Description Summary: Miami University is hiring an Assistant Professor in Biological Sciences to teach courses in anatomy and/or physiology, and/or area of expertise at the Middletown, OH campus; maintain an active research program and seek extramural funding; advise students; and provide service to the institution and profession beginning fall semester 2022.
- Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Biology or closely related field by date of appointment. Preferred Qualifications: Consideration may be given to candidates with postdoctoral experience; prior teaching experience at the college level; and/or research interests that complement those of current faculty and that show potential for research collaborations with other Miami biologists or microbiologists. The ideal candidate will be a cell or environmental physiologist interested in teaching physiology for biology majors and anatomy & physiology to nursing majors, while also teaching other courses within their area of expertise.
