We seek a scientist with a focus on marine and coastal fisheries ecology. Potential areas of research include, but are not limited to: fisheries ecology, fisheries oceanography, population dynamics, human dimensions, and economics. The candidate will be expected to: (1) develop a strong, nationally recognized and externally funded research program; (2) publish in peer-reviewed literature; (3) mentor graduate students; and (4) participate in graduate and undergraduate instruction in the Division of Coastal Sciences and School of Ocean Science and Engineering. The standard distribution of effort for tenure-track faculty members in the Division of Coastal Sciences is 70% research, 20% teaching, and 10% service pre-tenure and 65% research, 20% teaching, and 15% service post-tenure.
