Description
A Training Support System (TSS) Simulations and Training Analyst position is available with the Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML) to be assigned at the U.S. Army National Guard Readiness Center, Arlington, VA. This position will oversee implementation of Training Support-Material Army-Wide Tracking Systems (TS-MATS) training, all military construction (MILCON) dealing with Simulation Facilities (SimFacs) for the eastern region (west of the Mississippi River) as directed by Branch Chief, Deputy Branch Chief and Solider Training Support Program (STSP) Manager, Training Support Branch.
Qualifications
Required Job Qualifications U.S. citizenship and Army National Guard military experience required. The successful candidate must have a BA/BS OR AA/AS degree with two years equivalent experience in applied science or business administration. A degree can be substituted with 10-20 years of military experience. Experience managing complex, long-term projects; excellent oral and written communication skills; and demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with counterparts within the 54 states and territories and other agencies necessary. The successful candidate must have knowledge of Contracting Officer Representative responsibilities, the Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System, and writing Statements of Work as well as Performance Work Statements. Must complete or have completed classes ACQ 101, CLC 222, within the Defense Acquisition University and complete additional acquisition training within one year of being hired. Must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain a driver’s license by the employment start date. Preferred Job Qualifications Experience in management and accountability of TADSS preferred. Demonstrated ability to plan for, prepare, and coordinate staff functions such as information papers, meetings, briefings, and teleconferences is a plus. Extensive experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as being comfortable using the telephone and email to coordinate tasks, provide instructions, and offer advice to peers and customers (the users in the states) is desired. Experience using Wide Area Workflow or complete training within one month of hire is beneficial. Familiarity with tables of distribution and allowances, understanding the procurement process of Joint Capabilities Integration Development System and the National Guard and Reserve Equipment Appropriation, and familiarity with the Army TSS, including TSC, Training Support – Material Army-wide Tracking System, TADSS Mission Essential Requirements, and TADSS usage and accountability are beneficial. Comprehensive training on all TADSS in AR 350-9 and TRADOC PAM 350-9 is a plus.
