Under the direct supervision of the Urban and Community Forestry (UCF) Program Manager, this position is responsible for providing community forestry assistance and programs to field units, partners, and communities in Western Colorado integrated with the agency’s broader program of work.
This position operates out of the Grand Junction Field Office of the CSFS, with the potential for flexible work arrangements, including remote work. Candidates must be able to travel to locations through western Colorado and occasionally to CSFS offices in Broomfield and Fort Collins for staff meetings, etc.
- A bachelor’s degree in forestry, natural resources, landscape architecture, or a related program of study.
- Four years of combined field forestry and forest management program administration experience.
- Successful applicants must have a valid Colorado driver’s license or ability to acquire one upon employment.
