- Position Description/ Activities to be Performed: Expected Results: Completion of several trail maintenance projects. Including clearing down timber, brushing trail corridors, installing, and clearing drainage structures, working alongside heavy equipment crew on the reconstruction of several ATV trails, and updating trail signage throughout the forest. Educating and connecting with forest users through public contacts and working with volunteers Essential Function and responsibilities Perform basic trail maintenance on specified trails • Clear down trees • Brush trail corridor • Construct and clear drainages • Harden water crossings • Install new and updated trail signs • Maintain trail tools and equipment Trainings that we will provide • ATV/UTV • Motorcycle • 4WD vehicle • Safety training
