Have you ever experienced a bat flying in your home? We solve these wildlife conflicts with people. Bat control involves sealing up existing construction gaps on a home and installing one-way door devices to allow bats to exit unharmed. A significant part of the process is educating customers about the habits and behaviors of bats & mice so they understand our process. ** This job is NOT related to caring for animals or rehabilitation. Rather, it is more geared toward home repair, wildlife education & sales. This job is for the person with an aptitude for home repair, roofing, siding or carpentry trades. We want someone with a great personality that is looking for a job mixing physical, wildlife biology and sales skills. This is a physical job requiring lifting heavy 50+ pounds bulky ladders, squirming through HOT attics & tight spaces, working at heights such as on roofs or on ladders. As our employee, we will provide training and all the equipment. You bring an open mind, ambition, and an eagerness to develop your skills for a long-term career as our employee. Our candidate must be self-motivated, able to work independently, yet able to accept directions and follow company policies. You must be able to communicate with customers effectively and in a professional manner. You must have the physical ability to manage 28-40ft ladders, and no fear of heights. Plenty of driving.

- Job Requirements: Lifting 50+ pounds. Working at heights. Ability to pass the MI Dept Agriculture Pesticide exams within 60 days of employment. Required Qualifications: College Degree, Fisheries & Wildlife An open minded personality and eagerness to learn. Clean driving record. Good communication skills. Safety minded personality. People person and team player. Ability to pass a drug screen. Smoke Free Work Environment Desired Qualifications: Basic home repair knowledge. It would set a Biologist apart, if we saw that you worked during high school at a physical job such as on a farm. Compensation & Benefits: $70,000-$130,000++ * Health Insurance: We pay 100% employee premiums for Blue Cross GOLD $2000 single / $4000 family deductible with RX coverage. You will be eligible for health insurance after the new hire waiting period which is the 1st month following 60 days of employment. * 401K Plan: We help you save for future! Eligible for the company 401K program the quarter after you complete 6 months of service. The program is a safe harbor 401K through Vanguard, currently with 3% company contribution, and 4% profit sharing (subject to vesting schedule).
