Do you have an aptitude for home repair, roofing, siding or carpentry trades? We can teach you the rest. We will provide training and all the equipment. You bring an open mind, ambition, and an eagerness to learn. Use your degree and education our customers about bats (very interesting!) and mice. This is a very physical job requiring lifting heavy ladders, climbing through attics, working on roofs. Our candidate must be self-motivated, able to work independently, yet able to accept directions and follow company policies. You must be able to communicate with customers effectively and in a professional manner. You must have the physical ability to manage 28-40ft ladders, and no fear of heights. You will need the ability to squirm into some tight attic spaces.
Job Requirements: Lifting 50+ pounds. Working at heights. Ability to pass the MI Dept Agriculture Pesticide exams within 60 days of employment. Required Qualifications: College Degree, Fisheries & Wildlife An open minded personality and eagerness to learn. Clean driving record. Good communication skills. Safety minded personality. People person and team player. Ability to pass a drug screen. Smoke Free Work Environment Desired Qualifications: Basic home repair knowledge. Would like to see someone that worked on a farm, or can demonstrate working at a physical job in high school.
