Three Rivers Park District is seeking to fill the position of Wildlife Specialist at our Field Operations Center in Plymouth, MN. This position is responsible for effectively and independently assisting the Senior Manager of Wildlife in the planning, organizing and implementation of wildlife operations and maintenance programs by providing field direction to staff as lead worker; and to collect technical and biological data relating to the management of natural resources.
High School or GED and completion of a two year approved course in wildlife management or related natural resources management field and three years experience in wildlife or natural resources management OR any combination of education and experience equivalent to the above. Demonstrated working knowledge of wildlife and landscape management field techniques and ability to identify most common native and exotic plant and animal species.
Possession of a Minnesota Noncommercial Custom Pesticide Applicator License in the general grounds, turf, and ornamental categories required upon appointment. Valid Class D Minnesota Drivers license required, Class A preferred.
