The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources is seeking wildlife technicians (9) to aid in the WV white-tailed deer research project from January to March 2021. Primary duties include capture of white-tailed deer using clover traps and rocket nets.
Long hours and weekend work in harsh weather conditions. Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs. Possess a valid state-issued driver’s licenses.
Ideal applicants will have previous experience trapping deer using the above listed techniques. Ability to drive 4WD trucks, ATVs, and tow trailers is highly desired.
On-site field housing and work vehicles will be provided.
